Itinerary:
Day 1: Marrakech to Dades Gorges
Begin your adventure with a pick-up from your accommodation in Marrakech. Revel in the scenic drive through the High Atlas Mountains with stops at an argan cooperative and a viewpoint atop the mountains. Explore the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou before heading to Ouarzazate. En route to Dades Gorges, capture moments at Rose Valley, Monkey Toes, and Tisdrin Curves.
Day 2: Dades Gorges to Sahara Desert
Drive to the golden Sahara Desert in Merzouga. Marvel at the Todgha Gorges and visit a Berber clothes cooperative for a cultural experience. Before reaching Merzouga, pause near the Erg Chebbi dunes for a glimpse of the desert's beauty. Conclude the day with a camel ride, a mesmerizing sunset, and a night at a desert camp.
Day 3: Sahara Desert to Marrakech

Accommodation

Night 2 – Merzouga, Erg Chebbi: a desert camp among the dunes, reached by camel. Standard tents or luxury tents with a private bathroom are available. Dinner is served in camp, followed by Berber music around the fire.

Days 1 and 3 are long driving days of around 8 to 10 hours including stops for photos, lunch and breaks. Day 2 is shorter, with time to rest before the camel ride.
Bring warm layers for the desert night (especially from October to March), sunglasses, sunscreen, a scarf against wind and sand, comfortable shoes and a small bag for the night in camp.
Spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) are the most pleasant. Summer days are very hot in the desert, and winter nights can be cold.
