DAY 01: Tangier to Fes across Chefchaouen
Exploring Chefchaouen and Arriving in Fes
Begin your 5-day Tangier to Marrakech tour with a pickup from Tangier. Visit the picturesque Chefchaouen, exploring attractions like the Kasbah Museum of Art. Stroll through its blue walls leading to the Ras El Ma river, and capture the essence of Chefchaouen's blue buildings. Conclude the day with a drive to a traditional Riad in Fes for an overnight stay.
DAY 02: Fes City Tour
Discovering Fes's Rich Heritage
Embark on a comprehensive tour of Fes, starting with a visit to one of the King's palaces featuring seven golden gates. Enjoy panoramic views at Borj Nord and possibly visit the mosaic cooperative. Explore Fes El Bali's old Medina, entering through Bab Boujloud, and discover the Al Qarawiyyin mosque, the Madrassa of Attarine and Bou Inania, and the Chouara Tannery. Conclude the day back at your Riad with optional SPA relaxation.
DAY 03: Fes to Erg Chebbi (Merzouga)
Journey to the Desert
Continue your itinerary towards the Merzouga desert. Travel through Ifrane, the 'Switzerland of Morocco,' visiting the Atlas lion statue and the cedar forest in Azrou. After stops at Errachidia's dam and the Ziz Valley, embark on a camel ride across the Erg Chebbi dunes, enjoying a sunset before reaching the camp.
DAY 04: Merzouga to Dades Gorges
Exploring Canyons and Cultural Sites
Drive towards Dades Gorges, visiting Erfoud's mineral fossils museum, an old irrigation system, and the grand Todgha Gorges. Explore Dades town, the 'monkey toes' rock formations, and Tissdrine's curves, concluding the day with an overnight stay in the Gorges.
DAY 05: Dades Valley to Marrakech via Ait Benhaddou Kasbah
Scenic Route to Marrakech
After visiting the Todgha and Dades Gorges, head to Marrakech. Stop in Kalaat Mgouna's rose flower cooperative, Ouarzazate's Atlas Studios, and the stunning Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Cross the Tichka Pass at 2260 meters, visit an argan oil cooperative, and conclude your journey in Marrakech.

Accommodation
Hotels and riads: comfortable, hand-picked hotels, kasbahs and riads along the route, all with private bathrooms. Breakfast and dinner are included.
Desert camp, Merzouga: a camp among the dunes, reached by camel. Standard tents or luxury tents with a private bathroom are available. Dinner is served in camp, followed by Berber music around the fire.

Most days include 3 to 6 hours of driving with plenty of stops for photos, lunch and visits. The days to and from the desert are the longest.
Bring comfortable shoes, sunglasses, sunscreen, a hat or scarf and a light jacket. For the desert night, bring warm layers, especially from October to March.
Spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) are the most pleasant. Summer is very hot in the desert, and winter nights can be cold.
