DAY 01: Arrival in Fes

Welcome to the vibrant city of Fes. Upon arrival, our guide will ensure a smooth transfer to your centrally-located hotel in the historic Medina. Depending on your arrival time, you may start exploring the city's wonders. Enjoy a restful night at the hotel, gearing up for the adventures ahead.

DAY 02: Full Day Exploring Fes

After breakfast at your riad, a full day of discovery awaits in the Medina of Fes, brimming with centuries-old secrets and wonders. Visit significant sites like the Moulay Idriss mausoleum, the bustling tanneries, and the Royal Palace's grand exterior. Stroll through the historic Jewish quarter, the Mellah, and visit a synagogue. The day includes a stop at a renowned ceramic factory and concludes with a panoramic view of the Medina. Another night in your comfortable riad caps off the day.

DAY 03: Fes – Azrou – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga Desert

Depart from Fes to the stunning landscapes of Merzouga, tracing the ancient Caravan routes. Witness the Middle and High Atlas mountains, including a visit to Morocco's largest cedar forest, home to Barbary apes. Enjoy lunch in Midelt, then journey through the high desert landscapes to Er Rachidia, along the lush Ziz Valley, and into the Tafilalet date palm grove. Your arrival in Merzouga is celebrated with a welcoming mint tea before you settle into your riad.

DAY 04: Merzouga Area – Camel Trek and Overnight in Berber Tent

Explore the Merzouga area, starting with the Gnawa people, where music and culture abound. Visit the bird-populated Lake of Merzouga and the Rissani souk. After some rest in Merzouga, embark on a camel trek across the sand sea of Merzouga, led by an experienced guide. Your night in the desert camp includes dinner and amenities for comfort.

DAY 05: Merzouga Desert – Todra Gorges – Palm Groves of Tinghir – Dades Gorges

Rise early for a spectacular desert sunrise before trekking back to Merzouga. Post-breakfast, the journey continues to Rissani, Tinghir, and the Todra Gorges, the most dramatic gorges in Morocco. After a gorge-side lunch, drive through the Dades Valley, with its "monkey toes" rock formations. Your day ends with an overnight stay in a hotel overlooking the Dades Valley.

DAY 06: Dades Valley, Kasbah Amridil, Skoura Palm Groves, and Ouarzazate

Travel through the Dades Valley towards Kalaat Mgouna and Ouarzazate, known for the "thousand Kasbahs." Visit the "rose city" of Kalaat Mgouna and consider purchasing rosewater. Continue to Ouarzazate, with a stop at the historic Amridil Kasbah. Overnight in Ouarzazate.

DAY 07: Ouarzazate, Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, Tizi n'Tichka Pass, and Marrakech

DAY 09: Full free day in Marrakech

A free day in Marrakech allows for personal exploration. Visit landmarks like the Koutoubia Minaret and the Bahia Palace. Wander the medina, enjoy lunch near Jamaa El Fna Square, and visit the Majorelle gardens and Gueliz. Evening entertainment in the square follows dinner. Overnight in the riad.
