6 Days Tour from Fes to Marrakech
Day 1: Fes Sightseeing
After breakfast in your riad, begin your exploration of Fes, the spiritual heart of Morocco. The day is dedicated to the Medina with sites such as the Al Karaouine Mosque and University (the oldest in the world), the Tanneries, and the Najjarine fountain. Post-lunch, view the Royal Palace gate, the Mellah (Jewish quarter), and a pottery cooperative. Conclude with a fortress visit for a panoramic Medina view. Stay overnight in an authentic riad.
Day 2: Fes to the Sahara Desert via Ifrane
Leaving Fes, we head towards the Middle Atlas Mountains, stopping in Ifrane, known as the 'Switzerland of Morocco'. Visit the largest cedar forest in Morocco near Azrou to see Barbary Monkeys. Travel through Berber villages to the palm valleys of Errachidia and reach Erfoud, the fossil capital. The journey ends in Merzouga, at the edge of the Sahara Desert. Overnight at a hotel near the dunes.
Day 3: Merzouga Sightseeing
Explore the depths of the Erg Chebbi dunes. Visit Khamlia, meet nomads, and discover old mines. Enjoy a 'Berber Pizza' for lunch. The afternoon brings a camel trek and a night in a desert camp with Berber music under the stars.
Day 4: Sahara to Ouarzazate via Todra Gorge
