Day 1: Fes – Meknes – Volubilis ruins – Chefchaouen
Arrival and Meknes Exploration
Welcome to Fes, the starting point of your 7-day Moroccan adventure. Upon arrival, we'll promptly pick you up from the airport or your accommodation and set off to explore Meknes, an imperial city with a rich Ismaili heritage. Highlights include the grand Bab Al-Mansour, the serene Sahrij Souani basin, and the impressive Moulay Ismail Mausoleum. Enjoy a leisurely lunch before we venture 30 km to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Volubilis, where ancient Roman ruins await with their stunning mosaics and historic architecture. We'll then journey through Ouazzane to reach the picturesque Chefchaouen in the Rif Mountains, also known as the Blue City. Your first night will be spent in a traditional hotel, immersing you in the city's tranquil ambiance.
Day 2: Chefchaouen – Rabat the capital
After breakfast amidst the blue-washed buildings of Chefchaouen, take some time to explore at your leisure. We'll then drive through the scenic Rif mountains towards Rabat, Morocco's capital city. In Rabat, you'll visit the iconic Hassan Tower, the regal Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the historic Kasbah of Oudaya. Your day concludes with a restful stay in a Rabat hotel.
Day 3: Rabat to Marrakech via Casablanca
Post-breakfast, our journey takes us along the coastline to Casablanca, Morocco's economic heartbeat. Here, we'll visit the majestic Hassan II Mosque, the second-largest mosque on the continent, and stroll along the vibrant Casablanca Corniche. The day's travels end as we head inland to Marrakech, the Red City. Enjoy the evening exploring the famous Jemaa El-Fna square, followed by an overnight stay in a local hotel or Riad.
Day 4: Marrakech City Tour
Marrakech unfolds its beauty as we explore its highlights with a local guide. Visit the exquisite Bahia Palace, the historic Saadian Tombs, and the Ben Youssef Quranic School. Wander through the largest traditional souk in Morocco, with free time for lunch near the bustling Jemaa El-Fna square. Later, marvel at the Koutoubia Mosque and relax in the serene Majorelle Garden. Day 5: Marrakech to Ouarzazate via Ait Ben Haddou
An early pick-up from your Marrakech accommodation sets the stage for a drive through the awe-inspiring High Atlas mountains and the Tizi-N-Tichka pass. The highlight is the visit to the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site featured in films like Gladiator and TV series like Game Of Thrones. Enjoy lunch in a local restaurant before we proceed to Ouarzazate, the gateway to the desert, where you'll dine and stay overnight.
Day 6: Ouarzazate to Merzouga Desert
After breakfast, we'll explore one of Ouarzazate's film studios, where famous movies have been shot. The journey continues to the fragrant Rose Valley, celebrated for its annual Rose Festival. We'll then visit the breathtaking Todra Gorges, carved by the Todra River. Here, take your time to appreciate the landscape's natural beauty. The day's adventure culminates as we reach the Sahara desert of Merzouga, where you'll embark on a camel trek to witness a stunning sunset atop the dunes before settling into a desert camp. Enjoy an evening of Berber music and stargazing, followed by dinner and an overnight stay in the camp.
Day 7: Merzouga to Fes via Rissani and Ifrane
Rise early to catch the sunrise over the desert before returning to Merzouga for breakfast. We'll then visit Rissani, a historical trading center, and explore its vibrant souk. Our next stop is Erfoud, to visit a marble workshop, followed by a drive along the Ziz River for a panoramic view of the valley. After lunch in Midelt, we'll visit the Cedars Forest, home to Barbary Macaques, and Ifrane, known as the Switzerland of Morocco. The tour concludes with a drop-off at the airport or your accommodation in Fes, marking the end of an unforgettable journey

Bring comfortable shoes, sunglasses, sunscreen, a hat or scarf and a light jacket. For the desert night, bring warm layers, especially from October to March.
Spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) are the most pleasant. Summer is very hot in the desert, and winter nights can be cold.
