6 Day Morocco Tour Itinerary:

DAY 01: Casablanca Arrival

Your Moroccan tour from Casablanca to Marrakech through the Desert will begin at the airport, or your accommodation in Casablanca, the largest city and economic center of Morocco. The first stop is the Hassan II Mosque, the largest mosque in Morocco, with stunning views overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. We will then explore the city, visit the beautiful Cornish of Casablanca, and enjoy some free time for lunch. Finally, we will overnight in a hotel.

DAY 02: Casablanca to Fes via Volubilis and Meknes

After breakfast, we will depart from Casablanca to explore the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage site, with beautiful mosaics, pillars, and archways. We will then head to Meknes, an imperial city, where we will visit the Bab Al-Mansour, Sahrij Souani basin, the Royal stables, the granary, and the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum. Finally, we will drive to Fes and overnight in a Riad.

DAY 03: Fes to Merzouga via Ifrane, Cedar forest, and Ziz valley

After breakfast, we will drive south to visit Ifrane, known as the Switzerland of Morocco for its low temperature, snow, and alpine-style architecture. We will then head to the cedar forest where the Barbary macaques live and offer a chance to feed them while wandering in the forest. After that, we will continue to Midelt for lunch and then drive to Merzouga through the Tizi-n-Tilghmt pass and along the Ziz Valley with stops for panoramic views. We will reach the Sahara desert of Merzouga in the afternoon, where we will switch to camels and cross the sandy desert, with a stop on a high dune to enjoy the sunset. Finally, we will arrive at the camp to enjoy the Berber drums music, dancing around the campfire under a vast open sky of stars, followed by dinner and an overnight stay in the camp.

DAY 04: Merzouga to Marrakech via Todra Gorges, Dades valley, and Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah

Wake up early to witness the magnificent sunrise in the middle of the desert, followed by breakfast. We will then visit Rissani, an ancient trading center in the region, and Erfoud, where we will visit a workshop of fossilized marble. We will then drive through Touroug and Tinjdad palm groves to reach the Todra Gorges, an ideal place for rock climbers, with beautiful red cliff-sided canyons. After some free time for lunch in a restaurant, we will continue to the Dades Valley through Boumalne Dades, where we will stop at the "monkey fingers" rock formation, and for a view of the Dades Valley. Finally, we will overnight in a hotel.

DAY 05: Dades Valley - Roses Valley - Palm Groves of Skoura - Ouarzazate - Ait Benhaddou - Telouet - Tizi N’Tichka pass - High Atlas Mountains - Marrakech

5th day of the tour. We start the day with a visit to the Dades Valley and Roses Valley. You can witness the Rose Festival held annually in May, where locals showcase their rose products. Next, we drive through the picturesque palm groves of Skoura to reach Ouarzazate. Here, we visit the famous studios where renowned movies such as Gladiator, Alexander, and The Mummy were filmed.

Our next stop is the UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah. This fortified village has been featured in numerous movies and TV series, including Game of Thrones. After that, we drive through the Tizi-N-Tichka pass and the High Atlas Mountains. Enjoy stunning views and make unforgettable memories by capturing pictures at interesting spots along the way.
