To get the most out of your day trip, it’s recommended to start early in the morning to make the most of your time. We will arrange a local guide or driver to take you to the entrance of Talassemtane National Park, where you’ll embark on a hike to the famous Cascade de Akchour waterfall.
The hike takes approximately 2-3 hours and covers a distance of around 7km. Along the way, you’ll pass through beautiful landscapes, including olive groves, cedar forests, and rocky canyons. As you approach the waterfall, the sound of rushing water becomes louder and more prominent, and you’ll eventually arrive at the base of the stunning 100-meter-high cascade.
After taking in the breathtaking scenery, you can enjoy a picnic lunch before heading back to Tangier. If you have time, you can also explore the nearby town of Chefchaouen, famous for its blue-washed buildings and picturesque alleyways.

Lunch: Picnic or Local Restaurant:

Afternoon: Explore Akchour and Return to Tangier:

- Start Return Journey: Begin your journey back to Tangier in the mid to late afternoon, around 3:30 PM. The return drive will take you through the Rif Mountains, offering more scenic views.
Evening: Return to Tangier:
- Arrival in Tangier: Aim to arrive back in Tangier by 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, depending on traffic and the exact timing of your departure from Akchour.
- Dinner: Once you’re back in Tangier, you can have dinner at a local restaurant to round off your day trip.
