Day 1: Marrakech - Tizi N-Tichka Pass - Ait Benhaddou - Ouarzazate - Kelaa M'gouna
Kick off our Marrakech Desert tour by picking you up from your hotel. Our first destination is Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO-listed ancient Kasbah. Travel through the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi N'tichka Pass, reaching 2260 meters. Explore the Kasbah, then enjoy lunch in a local restaurant. Next, we head to Ouarzazate, stopping at the Atlas film studios and the Taourirt Kasbah. End the day in Kalaa M'gouna, with dinner and an overnight stay in a hotel.
Day 2: Kalaa M'gouna - Valley of Roses - Dades Gorges - Boumalen - Tineghir - Todra Gorges
Start the day with breakfast, then journey towards the Todra Gorges. Travel through the Valley of Roses, and meet a nomad family living in caves. Marvel at the Dades Gorges rock formations and lunch in Boulmane du Dades. In the afternoon, visit Tineghir and the Todra Gorges for stunning canyon views, followed by dinner and relaxation in a Kasbah hotel.
Day 3: Todra Gorges - Tinejdad - Touareg Town - Erfoud - Erg Chebbi (Merzouga)

Day 5: Ouarzazate - Ait Benhaddou - Telouet - Tizi N-tichka - High Atlas Mountains - Marrakech

Accommodation
Hotels and riads: comfortable, hand-picked hotels, kasbahs and riads along the route, all with private bathrooms. Breakfast and dinner are included.
Desert camp, Merzouga: a camp among the dunes, reached by camel. Standard tents or luxury tents with a private bathroom are available. Dinner is served in camp, followed by Berber music around the fire.

Most days include 3 to 6 hours of driving with plenty of stops for photos, lunch and visits. The days to and from the desert are the longest.
Bring comfortable shoes, sunglasses, sunscreen, a hat or scarf and a light jacket. For the desert night, bring warm layers, especially from October to March.
Spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) are the most pleasant. Summer is very hot in the desert, and winter nights can be cold.
